We hear the same arguments about women being treated badly in Islam again and again, and recently the same old arguments have cropped up on social media like Twitter and Facebook and blogs.

So we took the time in our Friday 10th January 2014 Khutba to go over the objections and once again provide the evidence to prove that Islam as a religion does not treat women as lesser than men.

The Holy Quran says that the Divine laws under which the universe operates are universal. This doesn’t just apply to physical laws but also to spiritual laws.
