Dubai’s biggest mosque which can accommodate two thousand worshippers will officially open today in Al Safa area.
The opening of Al Farooq Mosque and Islamic Centre will be marked with Friday prayer.
The mosque and centre complex is spanned over 8,700 square metres and is inspired by the 17th century Sultan Ahmed Mosque (also known as Blue Mosque) in Istanbul, Turkey. The mosque itself is being built over 4,200 square metres. Continue reading
