The Virtual Mosque

Sin damages our own Soul

Last week we heard that even where there is a dispute between a Muslim and non Muslim, the Holy Quran requires Muslims to dispense justice even if it means that the Muslim involved will be disadvantaged by the decision. It is sad to see that in complete contravention of this specific injunction of the Holy Quran there are majority-Muslim countries where the law even refuses to accept the testimony of a Non Muslim against a Muslim.

This week we talk about the consequences to our souls and spirituality if we do not dispense justice without regard to colour, creed, cast, belief or religion. Being unjust harms our own souls and injures our own spiritual development.
