Skateistan: To Live and Skate in Kabul is a film made by director Orlando von Einsiedel.
In a country with innumerable problems, Skateistan represents an oasis where children can be children and build the kinds of cross-cultural relationships that Afghanistan needs for future stability.
A video from Luton, where a group of conservative Muslims are actively campaigning against the extremist group Al-Muhajiroun (aka ISlam4UK, Muslims Against Crusades).
Please be aware that in parts of the film adult language is used.
In Egypt a Coptic Church was bombed and in Pakistan a politician, Salman Taseer Governor of the Punjab, who called for the protection of minorities was shot by his own security guard. The Holy Quran tells Muslims to fight oppression and tyranny where ever it is until “all religions” are for Allah. Not religion but religions in the plural. So Islam teaches Muslims to establish a system of rule in which all religions are protected. They had done so in earlier ages and that was why Christians from Spain invited Muslims to come and establish Muslim rule over Spain because under Muslim rule everyone is free to practice and to preach their religion. How different are things now!
The speaker in this video traces the impact that the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement had in the propagation of Islam in the US. However, she is wrong in stating that Muhammad Abdullah was the first missionary sent by the Anjuman to Fiji. The first missionary was Mirza Muzaffar Baig who set up a branch of the Ahmadiyya Anjuman in Fiji. Maulana Muhammad Abdullah went to Fiji some years after this.
Dylan Ratigan when asked about Bill O’Reilly’s recent appearance on The View instead takes a veer and rants out an excellent explanation for the War on Terror… and who our enemies really are.
Across America today, we are seeing an increase in fear and suspicion of people of Muslim faith. Rev. Deborah Lindsay reflects on the urgent need for understanding and peace-making, and she says a true Christian message is one of respect and understanding for all people of all faiths and traditions. After all, we are ALL created in the image of God.
One of the reasons for the split in the Ahmadiyya Movement was that the founder of the Qadiani jamaat, Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad sahib, declared that all those Muslims who have not taken the baiat (oath of allegiance) and joined the Ahmadiyya society are heretics and out of the fold of Islam. We, members of the Ahmadiyya Anjuman Ishaat Islam (or the Lahori Ahmadis) reject this most forcefully and have done so since 1911.
In the aftermath of the tragedy in Lahore the Qadiani-Ahmadis were invited to put their point of view on the television. The following video is what their representative said and how it is a lie.
Through Bhutto, the documentary..traces the fate of her family, dubbed Pakistans Kennedys.
It is a family dominated by her father, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, a former president and prime minister hanged by a military regime.
Assassinations, violent deaths or unexplained ones, internal conflict, glory and exile this roller-coaster ride forges the Bhutto legend.
You cannot have a conversation about those families without also asking what would have been. What would have been in a JFK (John F. Kennedy) second term, what would have been in a BB (Benazir Bhutto) third term? Baughman said.
But the film is also proof that Bhuttos two terms were already enough to fill history books.
Her legacy will be debated for the generations to come
The real Qadiani belief is that only members of their jamaat are Muslims.
That was the reason they did not say funeral prayers of other Muslims. However, since 1974, when Ahmadis have been declared heretics by the Pakistani Parliament the Qadianis have been trying to wriggle out of their real beliefs.
They try and deceive people by saying they regard everyone who recites the kalima as a Muslim.
Here, in an interview in the aftermath of the deplorable attack on their mosque, they are stumped when confronted by their true beliefs.
A comment by one of our members, Mustaq Ali, during the Easter festivals earlier this year.
He briefly mentions the origins of the celebrations and points out that the Holy Quran clearly states that Jesus could not have died for us.
Also is this current wave of banning the hijab for safety issues or is it to try and destroy Islam?
Here is a moderate Mullah!
Many people would wonder why Hazrat Mirza Sahib said : “Do not say funeral prayers of such people.”
The man in the video below is openly saying that because Ahmadiyya jamaat is making progress even in Pakistan its members should be put to death. So much for a moderate, tolerant Islam he is supposed to preach.
Would a reconciliation or compromise with militants/insurgents be a good idea in Iraq/Afghanistan…Yes/No…?
The Holy Quran tells Muslims to speak to other people in a nice way.
In violation of this verse non-Ahmadi Muslims generally resort to abuse, especially when they cannot answer Ahmadis, as we have seen on the Virtual Mosque and our other websites.
Anyone who does not abuse Ahmadis’ is accused of being a secret Ahmadi or having a soft spot for them.
Ghamdi sahib answer the allegation that he has a soft spot for Ahmadis in the video below.
The video is in Urdu with no subtitles unfortunately.
A BBC Four documentary that investigates the variety of stories surrounding the New Testament account of the crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus, by interviewing historians, theologians and historical researchers. This exploration of the latest theories about what really happened to Jesus 2000 years ago uncovers some surprising possibilities.
At the heart of the mystery is the suspicion that Jesus might not actually have died on the cross. The film concludes that it was perfectly possible to survive crucifixion in the 1st Century – there are records of people who did. But if Jesus survived, what happened to him afterwards?
A short clip from the TV program ‘Point Blank’ hosted by Lucman.
This clip is in Urdu but does have English subtitles (although they are slightly lagging behind what is being said).
MQM Chief (third largest political party in Pakistan), Mr Altaf Hussain discusses persecution against Ahmadis’, claiming it must be stopped and they must be allowed to practice and preach their faith without threat of prison or murder.
He also clarifies that Ahmadis’ believe in Kalima and the finality of the Prophet-hood of Muhammad (saw).
Hey I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed reading your blog. You have good views, Keep up the good informative info
THIS is the reason that muslims are given the bad reputation around the world. When Islam has representatives such as this…no wonder muslims are hated…..with muslims like you, Islam needs no enemies.
